OK First, this blog is meant as a joke against stereotyping!! Which means I want laughs and some smashing of bad ideas. If you’re proclaiming you are a goth on this blog, great. All you’re doing is proving that Black goths, as well as black anythings in ANY culture do exist. That’s fine. That’s one of things I wanted to do with this blog, because there truly are ignorant people that believe that certain culture or ways of life are limited to some due to race. I’m trying to SMASH that idea with a bit of humor. Guess this aint so funny. So before you become offended, keep that in mind.
Man, I’m gonna have to start putting disclaimers on this thing. lolz

I’m a black goth. But I don’t pirce or have tatoos or look gay or die my hair. I don’t use makeup, but for some reason everyone thinks I wear eyeliner! My musical interests besides goth rock(Siouxie rocks!) include death rock, death metal (neither are related, but they both kick ass!), doom metal, thrash metal, symphonic metal, hardcore punk, grindcore, deathgrind, power metal, gothic metal (gotta love Lacuna Coil), metalcore, unblack metal ({in dath growl}HORDE, ANTESTOR), thrash metal,(MEGADETH>SLAYER) heavy metal, any metal with a morbid feel, techno, industrial (mixed with metal, it could be weird, but still awesome), 60s blues, grunge, baroque (Bach had to be a 17th century goth), and classical music. No, metal isn’t always goth. However, tons of individual artists in metal are. Black Sabbath, for example. Many people think that you can’t be goth if you’re not white, and that’s just not true. You can’t be a skinhead if you’re not white, though. Tons of stereotypes arise when people don’t understand nonconformity. Goth has been around ever since Christianity started. For quite some time, they were one in the same. If you want to really serve God, become a goth. However, if you don’t fit the description, don’t force it. It’s something spiritual and philosophical, yet, you’re born with it. You could be goth right now, and not know it. It hides until you stop hiding who you truly are. Just be yourself, and you may be goth! Its that simple!

you are a shallow, close minded idiot!!! have you lived under a rock for the last fifty years or are you just an arrogant racist???? the goth style doesn’t belong to just white people?? are you really such a nationalist that you’re SO shocked when a black person puts on chains and spikes??? and for the love of fucking god when hip-hop first started, what did they wear??? denim, chains and studs.
and FYI: i am black and i am a hardcore goth. i’ve been goth since i was in 5th grade. i am now 27. i have all kinds of friends, except closed minded bastards like yourself. read a fucking book or something!!!!!!!!

Ethnic goths do exist…there are many East Indian and Mixed raced goths in my country…but people jus think we are weird
